Please join us to celebrate Bill Fuller's return to winemaking on Saturday, November 5th at our Tualatin Estate Vineyard with the very-limited release of his 2014 Vintage 41 Chardonnay. We will be hosting a wine release party with tastings, live music and food pairings from Winery Chef DJ MacIntyre and Sous Chef Brandon Wall from 12-5 pm.
In 1973, Bill Fuller moved from California to plant the Tualatin Vineyard as one of the original Oregon winemakers. Bill was recognized for many firsts in our industry. His Chardonnay and Pinot Noir took home Best of Show for Red and White in the same year at the London International Wine Fair and his 1989 Chardonnay was the first Oregon wine to be named to the Wine Spectator Top 100 List. In 1997, Willamette Valley Vineyards merged with Tualatin Estate Vineyard and Bill retired. Forty years later, Bill rejoined our winemaking team to make small lots of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from his favorite blocks using his traditional techniques. We've enjoyed having Bill back in our cellar and look forward to sharing his efforts with you at the following events.
Enjoy wine tasting of the 2014 Vintage 41 Chardonnay, bottle signing with Bill Fuller, food pairings and live music.
Admission is $15 per person, $10 for Wine Club Members, Owners and their guests.
