At Creative Roots, we inspire kids and adults to explore their individual creativity and form connections. We empower our clients with information and tools for optimal learning; opportunities to increase self-awareness, self-expression and self-confidence; and collaborative partnerships to nurture significant and supportive connections.
Creative Roots offers programs for kids including: camps, afterschool programs, academic tutoring, coaching, workshops and Kids' Empowerment programs. Programs for adults include: yoga, t'ai chi, qi gong, creative programs and workshops and professional development for educators and other professionals working with kids and families.
Creative Roots is owned by Monique Terner, a professional educator and registered yoga instructor. Monique brings over 20 years of teaching experience to Creative Roots and hires professional artists and educators as instructors and mentors. Monique is currently enrolled in a PhD program in psychology with specialties in creativity and mind-body medicine.
