Privacy + Security of Personal Information
Names and email addresses are collected to make communication and use of service possible. These are only used for communication between ShareOregon and users and also for direct communication between users. Some personal details are visible on the profile page of the user, but those details are voluntary (except first name).
ShareOregon will not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties. We do everything we can to ensure your security, including processing and storing content on secure servers that are protected by physical and technological security.
Passwords
Choose a strong password and keep it secure. It is also a good idea to change it periodically. We store passwords in an encrypted format to help keep them secure, but you are fully responsible for all activity, damage, and liability resulting from your failure to maintain password confidentiality. You agree to immediately notify ShareOregon of any unauthorized use of your password or any breach of security. You also agree that ShareOregon will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from failure to keep passwords secure.
