Jackson Bottom Wetlands

Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve is a facility of the City of Hillsboro Parks & Recreation Department. Comprised of 635 acres of wetlands and uplands next to the Tualatin River just 1 mile south of downtown Hillsboro. Our Nature Center is a 10,000 square foot building with interpretive center, bookstore, classroom, meeting space, offices and a huge covered deck on the east side. We provide classes for adults & families, school field trip programs, free community programs and more. Four miles of trails are open dawn to dusk.
