Hot Lake Springs

Residing between La Grand and Union along Hwy 203, off I-84 at exit 265, sits the Hot Lake Springs Hotel.

An historic and natural attraction since 1812, used by the Native American Tribes as a place for healing of their sick and injured. As the Oregon Trail became popular, more and more people stopped in for the Hot Springs and their healing properties.

By 1917, the property was a booming hotel with the third floor being utilized as a hospital which included radiation therapy and top-of-the line X-Ray Equipment. The facility was mostly destroyed by fire in 1934.

In 2003, the Manuel Family bought the property. With years of dedication and hard work the facility was reopened in 2011. Housing a Bed and Breakfast, Magnoni's Restaurant, Restore Salon Spa, Hot Tub Soaks and a History Center, there is plenty to see and do.

Take a self-guided tour of the facility for only $10.00 per person. Exploration includes antique fire equipment, a museum housing Military and Native American artifacts, the hotel itself as well as the amazing bronze works of David Manuel.
