This course is designed for beginning rock climbers and people who want to transition to outdoor climbing. The day will start in our office located in Troutdale Oregon, where our experienced guide will go over the basics from knot tying, gear and equipment selection, belaying, and basic climbing technique. After that we will provide transportation to an outdoor climbing area and spend the rest of the afternoon outdoors practicing what you've learned. Rare Earth Adventures believes every trip should be just as much about education as the adventure itself. Because of this our guides are great at tailoring each individual trip to the needs of the group in and engaging and exciting manor.
