BRIX Tavern (1338 NW Hoyt St.) is an outstanding spot for a work-day lunch with your teammates, happy hour with your squad, a fun date night spot or a place to host a gathering or meeting. Large, open space? Check. Sports? Check. Private group rental spaces? Check!!!

For lunch, BRIX has that cozy vibe that is so perfect for a drizzly Pacific Northwest day. Warm up with house-made Chicken Pot Pie that erupts in steam when you crack the breadcrumb crust, served with a House Salad drizzled in a zesty lemon dressing. There are soups and salads to pair up, like the BBQ Bacon Wedge Salad (who doesn’t love a Wedge Salad?) and Tomato Basil Soup. Or dig into one of BRIX’s famous brick oven fired Artisan Pizzas – Margherita, Spicy Sopressata or Fennel Sausage and Roasted Artichoke. For dessert, ask about the Seasonal Bread Pudding (like Blackberry and Lemon Zest).

There is more than one time to get happy! Early Happy Hour is 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm daily, and Late Happy Hour is 9:30 pm until closing (midnight). All draft beers are a dollar off, as are all wines by the glass. $5.00 well drinks are plentifully flowing, and house cocktails are $6.50. Small plates include Salt and Pepper Calamari, Beer Braised Crispy Chicken Wings and the daily Calzone. Try the Smoked Cheddar Fondue! If you are at BRIX for Late Night Happy Hour, ask about more hearty options, like the Tavern Taco Trio and the Rotisserie Platter.

Dinner options include items from the rotisserie (after 5:00 pm) – Chicken, Turkey and Prime Rib, served with Succotash and Basil-Mashed Potatoes, Soft Cheese Polenta or Mac & Cheese. There are also shareable dishes, pizzas and burgers.

Love brunch? This is the place to enjoy Bottomless Mimosas (“bottomless” means 7 or 8, which most people don’t come close to approaching the bottom of) and Bloody Marys with house-infused liquors (try the jalapeño vodka or the bacon bourbon!). To eat, there are Chicken and Waffles, Shrimp and Grits with poached eggs or – for sweeter appetites – French Toast stuffed with caramelized banana cream and crusted with almond brown sugar. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am – 3 pm, and reservations are recommended.
