Ridgefield Big Paddle

Spend a family-fun filled day celebrating National Trails Day on Saturday June, 1st with the 8th annual Big Paddle! 

At the waterfront enjoy a canoe, kayak or paddle board adventure in the morning and afternoon and other festivities like vendors at Paddler’s Village, live music, a wine and beer garden, and an obstacle course for all ages. Rentals are available through Alder Creek Kayak.

In downtown Ridgefield, enjoy Farmer’s Market, a Totally Awesome Scavenger Challenge, a follow-the-fish trail, live music and BIG GAMES!

All land activities and parking are FREE

The Morning Paddle and Afternoon Paddle require registration and a $5 fee.

9AM Opening Ceremony with Chinook Blessin & Surprise Visitor

9:30-12:30PM Live Music: Chicamarimba

12:30-3:30PM Live Music: Faisal & Mitch

9:30AM Two-Hour Interpretive Pddle

9:30AM Obstacle Course Opens

11AM Beer Garden Opens with Hookum Brewery

12:30-1:30PM Kayak Polo demo and scrimmage with Portland Polo Club

1:30PM Recreational Paddle with Ridgefield Kayak/Alder Creek

3:30PM Kayak Carnival: Dryland Drills and Thrills! Land-based games and races using paddling gear and a bit of teamwork!

4PM Raffle & Closing Ceremony
