No Ivy Day at Nadaka Nature Park

Sat Oct 26 - 9:00am-12:00pm

On Saturday, October 26th, Friends of Nadaka is teaming up with Portland Parks & Recreation to host our annual NO IVY DAY event at Nadaka Nature Park! Gather your friends, families, and neighbors to help restore a safe and healthy habitat at Nadaka by pulling out invasive English Ivy and removing other nonnative species, then planting native shrubs and groundcovers throughout the park!

This event is family friendly, and all are welcome! Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be provided, as well as tools and gloves. Dress for the weather--rain jacket, long pants, and closed-toe sturdy shoes are recommended. Please bring a water bottle!

Date: Saturday, October 26th, 2019

Time: 9am - 12pm

Location: Nadaka Nature Park Picnic Shelter (17615 NE Glisan Street, Portland OR, 97230)
